  Un neurilemoma fue hallado en un ejemplar de 'dorado' (Salminus maxillosus) del río Paraná (Corrientes, Argentina). La lesión, localizada en la pared abdominal derecha, estaba compuesta de células tumorales fusiformes que adoptaban disposiciones tipo Antoni A. En otras zonas el tejido tenía el aspecto tipo Antoni B.


A neurilemmoma has been found in one specimen of 'dorado' (Salminus maxillosus) from the Paraná river (Corrientes, Argentina). The lesion, located in the rigth abdominal wall, consisted of fusiform tumoral cells arranged as Antoni type A tissue. In another regions the tissue looks like Antoni type B.
